PVC-C pipes for water supply are made of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin. After chlorination treatment, the solubility and chemical stability of PVC resin are enhanced, improving the material’s heat resistance and acid and alkali corrosion resistance.

Description of PVC-C Pipe for Water Supply
PVC-C pipe for water supply is made of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin. After chlorination, the irregularity of molecular bonds of PVC resin increases, as well as the polarity, the solubility of resin, and the chemical stability, improving the material’s heat resistance, acid, alkali, salt, oxidant and other corrosion resistance. The mechanical properties of the heat deformation temperature of the resin are improved, the chlorine content is increased to 63-69%, the Vicat softening temperature is increased to 90-125, the maximum use temperature can reach 110, and the long-term use temperature can reach 95.
PVC-C pipe for water supply has strong chlorine performance, so the water quality is hygienic and healthy, and the pipeline system is impermeable to oxygen, so it will not corrode due to oxidation. It is not only more corrosion-resistant than metal pipes, but also more corrosion-resistant than other plastic pipes such as PPR. It can resist strong concentrated sulfuric acid and strong alkali corrosion. The connection method of PVC-C water supply pipe can be solvent cement or sealing rubber ring connection. The connection methods are simple and greatly shorten the construction period.
PVC-C water supply pipes are widely used in civil water supply, hot water systems, piped drinking water systems, commercial pure water systems, pure water systems for medical dialysis, hot and cold water systems for air conditioners, etc. due to their good heat resistance, pressure resistance and impact resistance.
