Description of PVC-M Pipe for Water Supply
PVC-M water supply pipe, impact-resistant modified polyvinyl chloride PVC-M pipe for water supply, is based on the production formula of PVC-U pipe, adding toughener, controlling equipment process, so as to obtain PVC-M pipe with better toughness and higher strength.
The toughening modification methods are divided into chemical toughening and physical toughening. While maintaining the elastic modulus of PVC-U pipe, PVC-M pipe improves the flexibility of the pipe. Its toughness is between PVC-U and PE. Good flexibility improves the ability of the pipe to resist water hammer and point load, and improves the safety of pipeline operation. PVC-M pipe for water supply has the advantages of PVC-U, and its impact resistance and flexibility are significantly improved. It has been widely used in water supply pipeline, as well as mine water supply, trenchless laying pipeline and other harsh environments, with excellent performance. Different countries use different names for PVC M pipes. The United States and Australia call it PVC-M, Japan and the Netherlands call it PVC-HI, and the United Kingdom calls it PVC-A.
